BIM Education Schema focus groups

Section 1: About BIM Schema

In general, BIM Schema is considered clear, concise, complete and concrete. With an average of 85%, the frameworks is considered easy to perceive and understand, giving a lot of information clearly, brief but comprehensive. Also, it is considered to completely cover the scope of BIM Education, and has a concrete form, not abstract.

Section 2: User Experience

For more than 80% of the participants, BIM Schema is considered easy, manageable and comprehensive. Can be adapted to the needs of the user, and is very useful. Also, is considered user and collaboration oriented.

Section 3: Author Experience

Participants consider in an average of more than 80% that match the needs and expectations of authors (content creators). BIM Schema has several advantages as easy, comprehensive and flexible. Participants concluded that is very useful for authors that plan to create BIM contents.

Section 4: Content Provider Experience

Participants considered that BIM Schema is very appropiate for Universities, Academies and corporate trainers, as an scalable, multisectoral and multiplatform framework. Also, BIM Schema has a strong product identity.

Section 5: performance

In more than 85%, participants consider BIM Schema successful in producing a intended result, optimum, very versatile to adapt to many different actors and scenarios,  and very efficient in achieving maxium productivity with minimum wasted effort or expense. Participants concluded that can contribute to BIM adoption´s acceleration.

Section 6: Market adoption

In an average of more than 80%, participants considered BIM Schema as a global and fast to implement solution for BIM Education, ready for BIM Consultant to apply in BIPs (BIM implementation plans). The contribution to collaboration adoption is considered to be very high, with great impact in fast transference of BIM competencies, providing the needed BIM profiles in the less time possible, through its pathways versatilily.

Section 7: A2D Digital Transformation, Standardization and certification

The mayority of the participants considered this BIM Schema adequate for A2D process, Analogic to digital. In average 70% BIM Schema is a good maturity roadmap for Digital Transformation benchmarking, a good BIM adoption and implementation tool. Concluded that is a good candidate as BIM education Standard and good certification system´s schema.
