Multiplier Event in Canterbury

The event was hosted by Warnborough College. It took place on 18th November 2022 from 10:30 til 12:00. Participants in the event were academics from different universities and institutions, AECO professionals, and some HEI students who have heard about BIM as part of their studies.

Warnborough President, Dr Brenden Tempest-Mogg, welcomed everyone to the gathering. Participants have come from different countries including Slovenia, The Netherlands, and Ireland. Dr Julian Ng introduced Warnborough College briefly and then explained about the Erasmus+ Transversal BIM project.

Through gentle questioning, Dr Julian explained the concept of BIM in a simplified manner. Dr Urs Hauenstein explained the project results we had to achieve in the project, explaining in length about the first two Results. The third Result was introduced but as we have not yet developed any courses, we had nothing to demonstrate.

Dr Julian then led a simple game to help participants understand BIM from a practical perspective.

After a short Q&A session, the event ended. Participants who had travelled from a long way had the option of joining the hosts for dinner that night.
