Global Contents SL (P6) from Spain are in charge of our second Intellectual Output, which is about coordinating strategies for the design and development of a framework to include BIM in higher education curricula at Bachelors, Master’s and Doctoral levels.
The 3 consortium partners which are higher education institutions (HEIs) will introduce these modules within their faculties.
The first step involves identifying the relevant BIM stakeholders at the HEIs, and checking for commitment through a series of surveys. Selected stakeholders are then formed into focus groups with set objectives and outcomes to achieve.
Everything will culminate in final workshop for each focus group where all the key ideas will be synthesised into a BIM knowledge framework that will be used for developing curricula and courses (IO3).
The first focus group meetings have already begun, and the framework is expected to be completed by the first week of September 2022.
